A step-by-step guide for job seekers — from creating your account to browsing open roles.
The ChIPs Network job board connects women in tech, law and policy with employers committed to advancing diverse talent. Whether you're actively searching or just exploring, this guide walks you through everything you need to get your profile live and start discovering opportunities.
Head to the ChIPs job board and click Sign Up in the top-right corner. You'll be prompted to choose your account type. Select Job Seeker to create a candidate profile.
Fill in the registration form with the following:
💡 Tip: Already have an account? Click "Sign me in" at the top of the form to go directly to the login page.
After registering you'll be taken to the Create New Resume form. To get started:
💡 Tip: The job board will analyze your resume and populate profile fields automatically. You can edit your fields or leave them as is.
Optional: check the following fields to ensure they are correct:
💡 Tip: The Personal Summary box supports rich text. Use bold headings and bullet points to organize your skills and highlights — employers can see this section directly in the candidate view.
Scroll down to the Work Experience section and fill in:
💡 Tip: Make sure the "Let Employers Find My Resume" checkbox just above this section is checked so your profile appears in employer searches.
Fill in the Education section with your degree(s):
Use Add Education to add multiple entries. You can remove any entry with the Remove button. When you're done, click the Post button at the bottom of the page to publish your resume to the job board.
✓ Success!: You'll see a confirmation message: "You have successfully posted your resume." Your profile is now live and discoverable by employers on the ChIPs network.
Click Jobs in the navigation bar to explore open roles. Use the keyword and location search fields and filter by category or job type to narrow results. Click any listing to read the full job description, then click Apply Now to submit your application.
💡 Tip: Turn on alerts: Toggle the "Alerts for this search are on" switch at the bottom of the results page to get email notifications when new matching roles are posted.
You can manage your profile, applications and saved jobs anytime through My Account, where you'll also see how many employers have viewed your resume.
